Low Pay Card complaint by OSlanteyes
LPC is suppose to "help" you with your credit? Yeah right. This company charges you $79.00 activation fee that is non-refundable,then tells you to pay a membership fee of $120.00.I you decide to cancel te card you will not be charged the membership fee.

BIG LIE!!!! I asked them to hold the membership fee until my next pay day, they took it out anyway. Then the "manager" who says he is the "district" manager also (whatever) tells me I'm a liar and that I'm acting like a 2 yr old because I tried to tell him what I was told. And that I had a yearly membership balabce of $400 because the yrly fee is $900.

I was never told any of that when I talked to the first representaive when I called after I stupidly activated the card. When I called on 6/11/08 to cancel my card I spent 3 rs on the phone getting cut off and hung up on.The "manager" called me a liar again. I called LPC several times, on hold for 15-20 mins a time and he called me a liar when I told him I could show proof on my cell bill on the minutes.

I then asked the "manager" what his supervisors name was, he tells me he doesn't have one.Like that wasn't a lie itsself. His name is "Bob".

To anyone who has a complaint on this company, your not alone. Call and talk to a rep. before you THINK about getting one of these cards and as far as them "helping" you fix your credit. Won't happen!
